USB-BDM programmer with support for Coldfire V2-4 in addition to the HCS08, HCS12 und CF1 connection. It is based on the JM60 microprocessor (MC9S08JM60CLD)
50 x 40 mm pcb
PC connection requires a micro-USB cable (not included). Powered from USB, no separate supply needed.
(the device comes preprogrammed with USBDM v 4.6 firmware
fully integrated with Codewarrior 4 to 7 and 10.1/10.2 on Windows, and Codewarrior 10.1 on Linux)
The USBDM can provide 3.3V or 5V power to the target device conveniently configured via software in the connection configuration panel.
The firmware is the work done by PGO on the Freescale Community Forum, made available under the open source GNU GPL license.
The hardware implentation presented here differs from PGO's in that it omits the 12V programming voltage needed for RS08 devices.
The Coldfire V2-4 connection uses a 10-pin connector. Optionally pin 1 can be connected to the target's "all_pst" signal, but this is not required.
• Standalone S-Record flash utilities for rapid programming of target devices without Codewarrior
• The device comes preprogrammed with USBDM v 4.8 firmware:
